How it Started
Full Picture Games organically grew from Chris Magnuson’s obsession with posting funny finds from Google’s Street View as @StreetviewVagabond on social media.
Chris became obsessed with finding cultural clues in business logos, street art and public works. And then he wanted to connect with the people.
If we live in a connected world, Chris wanted to test it. While in Washington, DC, he remotely ordered a burger and had it delivered to a DJ on live radio in Dunedin, New Zealand. He hoped it would spark a conversation about things he was finding on Dunedin’s Street View. It worked! Here’s a link to listen to the Radio One broadcast!
Talking with folks was fun, but as a former teacher and game designer, Chris knew the power that games have to make these personal connections more revealing. He tested his first “image reveal” game with Muhammad in Wa, Ghana. It was called Stump the Local and Chris showed photos of Wa with parts covered asking Muhammad to guess what was missing. It was the seed of a fun idea! See the original Stump the Local game with this link.
Chris then introduced competition to the game by bringing on a handful of locals to play against each other. The formula took shape: Take screenshots of interesting places, crop them into challenging visual puzzles and then see who can identify the place first. The Streetview Gameshow was born.

Chris then took his game show format to a live audience at the Digital Travel Summit in 2025, landed a deal to build a game for the St. Kitts Tourism Authority and then realized that this could actually become a business!
Full Picture Games has been built and continues to grow with the same fun energy that inspired Chris to explore the world remotely, connect with people and have a great time doing so. Follow this link to go to Full Picture Games.
